COURSE GOAL: To obtain the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for effective concealed carry, deployment, and defensive use of any off duty or plain clothes carry firearm in practical situations. Lessons in this course will include methods of effective concealed carry, methods of effective production and deployment of a concealed firearm, as well as basic and intermediate defensive accuracy while acting in the official capacity of an off duty law enforcement officer. Included in this course is a safety briefing, classroom instruction utilizing different carry methods and inert training firearms, and range time. Cover, concealment, and multiple threats will be discussed and practiced, during real life scenarios.
This course is restricted to law enforcement officers only. Basic firearms safety is expected in this class, along with a professional and educational attitude. Please contact a Shoot Smart representative for scheduled dates and times or with any questions about this course. |
