Shoot Smart Training Cost: $50.00 IDPA Prep Course |

COURSE GOAL: This course contains lessons which teach the basics of shooting International Defensive Pistol Association local, state, and national matches. Included is a basic safety briefing, explanations of the IDPA terms and course of fire regulations, and IDPA equipment standards. This course will help the semi-experienced shooter graduate to a competition level, by safely operating his/her firearm under “competition stress” shooting situations. This course begins at a very slow and safe pace and will move as fast as the shooters can safely handle. However, this is not a speed shooting course; it is the safe and effective basics of IDPA. Prerequisites for this course include: *Basic safe knowledge and operations of your firearm* Ear and Eye Protection **IDPA legal firearm** **IDPA legal holster** **IDPA legal double magazine pouch** At least three magazines 150 rounds of the correct ammunition for your firearm *Safe knowledge in the handling and operation of your firearm is necessary for this course. This course is not for the first time shooter, it is for the first time competitor.
