Become an NRA Certified Instructor

Shoot Smart LLC staff’s NRA Certified Training Counselors.

Training Counselors are certified to offer the following courses, in addition to the basic level courses:

NRA Basic Pistol Instructor

NRA Basic Rifle Instructor

NRA Basic Shotgun Instructor

NRA Home Firearm Safety Instructor

NRA First Steps Pistol/Rifle/Shotgun Instructor

NRA Range Safety Officer

NRA Chief Range Safety Officer

Shoot Smart Firearms Training can help you obtain your Instructor Status from the NRA. After successful completion of this course and approval by your TC, Shoot Smart Training Counselors will submit your information to the NRA for the issuance of your instructor credentials.

Please note, instructor level courses require a solid understanding of the discipline you are would like to instruct. Telephone interviews and or pre-course testing may be required prior to entrance into any instructor program.
